SANITIZATION AND DISINFECTION

SCOPE / DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Sanitization of all areas/surface, using fogging machine with approved and registered disinfectant cleaning product/chemicals by Dubai Municipality/EPA which helps eliminating COVID-19 and manual wiping/disinfecting on living spaces / High touch/frequent contact surfaces include but not limited to tables, doorknobs. etc.

PPE will be use in an infected area

A. Disposable Cover all. Plastic coverall if the area is exposed to confirmed Case(s). Mesh coverall if the area is exposed to non-confirmed Case(s).
B. Disposable Mask (N95).
C. Surgical Gloves / Rubber Gloves.
D. Safety glass / Goggles.
E. Rubber boots with plastic shoe cover.
F. Hair net.

PREPARATION

A. Ensure all furniture and equipment is exposed for cleaning and disinfection, using fogger machine or manual wiping of all surfaces.
B. Electrical items, fogger machine and extension lids shall be connected to a circuit breaker.
C. Pre inspect to determine exact location of areas included on the agreement, and if any access points are required.
D. Disposal off empty chemical container dust, debris and used PPE of the team will be collected by 3rd party waste disposal facility at the end of cleaning and disinfection process.
E. Have the customer sign the completed Job Completion Report.

DISINFECTION PROCESS

A. Prior to work commencement, a pre-arranged Disinfection process according to area or building layout, to ensure all areas are covered for disinfection.
B. First, use damp (water + chemical) cleaning cloth to wipe/remove handprint on the surface.
C. Using a bottled sprayer, we will cover all internal surfaces of furniture and fixture, making certain that all surfaces are kept wet for at least 5 minutes after application. (Following the chemical manufacturer’s application guidelines).
D. For clients that require a reduction of moisture in their furniture and fixture surface, we may wipe the reachable surfaces with a sanitized, damp cleaning cloth.

DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS WASTE

A. Discard all used PPE in a double-bagged biohazard bag, which should then be securely sealed and labeled.
B. Store the contaminated used cleaning material on hazardous bag and sealed properly.
C. Disinfect the hazardous bag external surface of the bag to avoid further spread of germs.
D. Call the Hazardous waste collector to dispose the waste generated during disinfection.
E. Proper hygiene, washing of hand or body after disposal of hazardous waste.
